Going to give a brief review of my new PAN just going to highlight nagging issues and wonderful things, already ran it on the Dyno fully stock not even broken in with the EPA restrictions it was surprising to see a fifth gear run of 137HP and 89 FPT.
This bike sounds like a Singer sewing machine. It is Ultra quiet both in the Intake and Exhaust, The Header contains the CAT, and then in front of the rear tire is a large pre-chamber muffler leading to an exceedingly long silencer, idle sounds like Pfff Pffff Pffff LOL.
Probably some decent power gains with a free-flowing intake and Exhaust!
List the cool features first
* The Variable valve timing controls both Intake and exhaust using independent phasers from what I saw so far is 40 degrees of advance and retard.
* Hydraulic valve lifters meaning NO VALVE ADJUSTMENTS, Redline is set at 9500 RPM
* Electronic Adjustable Suspension that so far seems to isolate you from bumps, Sport Mode firms up, and the Bike flicks through corners along with almost no brake dive, There is a dirt mode that I have not tried, And a Road mode that softens things up, Has automatic Pre-load setting meaning it will keep 30MM of preload automatically and adjust itself for loads.
* Really neat feature any speed over sixteen miles per hour the Suspension raises two inches, and as you come to a stop it lowers itself two inches so that you can flat foot the bike. Makes the seat height around thirty inches while stopped.
* Wet Weight 554 Pounds.
* TFT Display.
* Wheelies and more Wheelies are no effort at all, just twist and lift, not everyone will like that but I do!
* Cruise control, electronic ride modes (including one custom mode), linked brakes, cornering ABS, lean-angle aware traction control, Wheelie Control, Hill Hold Control, Drag-Torque Slip Control, LED cornering lighting, a 4-way hand-adjustable windscreen, a 6.8” color TFT display that includes Bluetooth integration for calls and music, plus turn-by-turn map Kind of on the Fence with that stuff but people want it.
* Brembo Brakes are Sublime and near-perfect and in Dirt Plus Mode can shut off the rear ABS and Traction Control- not for everyone!
* Hill Hold Control (HHC) applies and holds brake pressure when activated and prevents the motorcycle from rolling.
* Fit & Finish, paint typical beautiful Harley
So Far what did I not like, to be honest, nothing yet mechanically was only able to ride about 300 miles.
The one thing that stands out is WHY new bikes have no fenders, the front coverage stops at the fork tube and exposes the cooling system to destruction. As for the rear, there is nothing!
I ordered a rear fender and a new front one with full coverage and then I will do much more riding and update.
* New Full Arrow Exhaust that eliminates the restrictions and the Heat.
* They make a free-flowing off-road Intake system.
* Some Tuning especially on the Restrictions- This machine's horsepower and torq are restricted heavily on the top-end side, it's down at least 15-20 HP
