Hi everyone. I've owned my 2011 C14 for 3 years. I picked it up while I was living in Colorado. The local Kawasaki dealer said the previous owner had to move on from two-wheeled fun, and I'm very happy to pick up the torch in his place. I've ridden ~5,000 miles/year, and try to extend the season as long as there is no ice on the roads and the thermometer is north of 20 degrees. If you ever find yourself headed to Northern Colorado/Front Range/Southern Wyoming, let's ride!

Welcome Nate.
COG is a great resource. I’ve really gotten a lot of from the tech advice, the classifieds, and especially the rides and rallies.
I think you’ll like it here.
Best regards
Bob

@natecis007779 Welcome to the Concours Owners Group! Trust you’ll find a great group of people and tons of useful information.

Check out the National Event, possibly an opportunity to ride with others from the west region over to the National on WV. Signup deadline for 1 of 6 free give away rooms is 27-May (there’s still time!)

My wife and I toured UT / CO about 2 years ago - amazing trip. Previously we lived in MN and touring in MN / SD / ND / NE / WY is one of my fondest memories. I love your region, the vast openness is so inviting!

Don’t be a stranger, glad you joined as a full member.

Wayne

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
I'm time-off limited at my new job for the time being, so unfortunately this year's National Rally is out of reach.

My Connie will be ticking over 70k miles in about a month, so I will certainly be digging into the technical info as time goes on.

Colorado spoiled me - a group of us at my old job would routinely run Lefthand/James Canyon on Friday lunch rides, and the Front Range has been home to many two wheeled adventures, however I'm looking forward to exploring my new stomping grounds as summer takes hold out here.

Hi Nate and welcome!
What part of Wyoming? I'm in Casper.

Not yet...Most of our rides have been further southeast. We did the Snowy Peak range run into Saratoga, Lusk for pizza, and took the Morton pass over to Laramie, all out of Wheatland.

Fun ride. In Thermopolis, there is a dinosaur museum loaded with the best collection of pterodactyl fossils I have ever seen. About once a year I head up that way and make a wide loop through the Big Horns, and then back to Casper. Plenty of parks and camping along the way.
